As part of our commitment to sustainability, it’s our pleasure to support our employees, suppliers, partners and local community. Every year we assist a wide range of charities and local community events and since 2017, we have donated over £23,000 to local charities.
As a collective we are delighted to support an on-going national charity, an annual local charity and general fundraising campaigns. For further information please see below.
We have recently established a long-standing relationship with the national charity campaign, Save the Sea, centered around World Oceans Day (Monday 8th June 2020) and is part of the Environmental Justice Foundation (EJF). Like the Save the Sea campaign, Lussmanns want to make sure our oceans can sustain people and wildlife for generations to come.
Andrei Lussmann is delighted to be spokesperson for EJF’s Save the Sea campaign and will be hosting and taking part in various fundraising events throughout the year.
Every year, we are passionate about working with a local charity. In the past these have included Herts Young Homeless and Youth Talk St Albans, this year Lussmanns are delighted to be working with The Muscle Help Foundation for 2019/2020.
The Muscle Help Foundation delivers transformational experiences across the UK, known as Muscle Dreams for children and young people (8-28yrs) with Muscular Dystrophy. Lussmanns will be raising funds for the charity by donating a portion of money generated from a chosen dish sold throughout February 2020 followed by hosting the Annual Dream Team Dinner in March 2020 in honour of the charity. A fun event whereby Andrei invites top chefs and influential restauranteurs to cook for charity.
This November the charity are running a dedicated Meatballs for Muscle Dreams campaign whereby top chefs have got involved by giving their best meatball recipe, why not grab your friends and have a meatball party to raise funds for this deserved charity.
