Location Information
Lussmanns Hitchin has space for 70 guests in the main ground floor dining areas, along with bar seating and outside pavement tables (weather permitting). We also cater for larger tables in our lovely gallery area, which is perfect for small business functions and family celebrations. Please contact the manager for more information and to make your booking.
Disabled Access
The front dining area of our restaurant is at ground floor level, the rear section is accessed via two steps. We have an accessible toilet with baby changing facilities that requires use of a portable wheelchair ramp - please ask any member of staff. We recommend that guests let us know in advance if a wheelchair space is required, so that we can make the appropriate table arrangements.Parking Information

Our Hitchin restaurant does not permit dogs inside.
Dogs are allowed on our pavement area provided they:
- are kept on a short lead and under control
- remain on the floor at all times
- are quiet and well behaved
- are not fed from your plate
Owners are responsible for their pet’s behaviour and we reserve the right to ask for dogs to be removed at any time.
Please ask if you would like a water bowl.
Assistance dogs are welcome in all areas of our restaurant.

Restaurant Manager
Roberto Elia
I started work as a kitchen porter in the UK back in 2015 and quickly fell in love with restaurants. Nevertheless, I decided to take a break and I started working in a warehouse, becoming the team leader. I managed to join the Lussmanns team as a waiter in 2021.
I embraced Lussmanns ethical approach, and it’s taught me how even the smallest details can make a positive difference to the planet. The passion they put into creating a sustainable and welcoming environment has given me the daily motivation to work in a hard and dedicated way. Alongside all the opportunities I’ve encountered, I’m very proud to have reached the position of restaurant manager and I’ll put all my effort and determination in it.
