Are you ready to dine like it’s 2005 and help us save lives?
As a small thank you to all the thousands of you who’ve eaten in our St Albans restaurant since we opened next door to the cathedral 20 years ago, we’ve created an anniversary menu of three delicious dishes, made with all the usual ethically sourced ingredients, at 2005 prices.
And, because we’ve always believed in being at the heart of the community, we’ll donate £1 for every dish you order while the offer lasts until 23 November, to St Albans Community First Responders who volunteer their time to attend emergency calls, providing urgent and potential life-saving care.
Our founder, Andrei Lussmann, explained the idea behind the initiative:
“We’ve been fortunate to enjoy wonderful support from the people of St Albans and the surrounding area since we opened 20 years ago. As a small thank-you to all those who’ve eaten in the restaurant during this time, we’ve created a three-course menu at 2005 prices and we’ll be donating a pound for every one of those dishes we sell.
“So, please come and enjoy these fabulous dishes made with all the usual ethical ingredients and together we’ll be supporting a brilliant local charity.”
St Albans Community First Responders volunteer their time to attend emergency calls, providing urgent and potential life-saving care and also happen to be one of the Mayor of St Albans’ chosen charities of the year.
Look out for the special 2005-2025 menus available from 12-6pm Tuesday-Saturday from 14thOctober to 23rd November and order a sharing starter of camembert fondue with organic Devon charcuterie for £9.95, a main course of pasta alfredo made with organic Devon chicken for just £7.95 and autumn pudding – with blackberries, apples, pears and plums for £4.95.
