Set in the heart of this bustling, historic town, Lussmanns Hitchin offers three options for guests looking for a private dining and event space. For those interested in a small, intimate area for a family celebration or business function, the gallery on the ground floor is ideal for eight to 10 guests. On the upper ground floor level, medium-sized groups of eight-24 can enjoy the banquette area.

With the stylish bar and all-round elegance of the dining room, guests looking for a space to accommodate a larger group of clients, colleagues, friends or family, the whole restaurant can comfortably fit up to 80 guests. All our private dining areas are accessible and some areas are suitable for a projector and screen. St Mary’s car park is a five-minute walk away and Hitchin station is 20 minutes on foot.

Restaurant Information

Location Information

Lussmanns Hitchin has space for 70 guests in the main ground floor dining areas, along with bar seating and outside pavement tables (weather permitting). We also cater for larger tables in our lovely gallery area, which is perfect for small business functions and family celebrations. Please contact the manager for more information and to make your booking.

Disabled Access

The front dining area of our restaurant is at ground floor level, the rear section is accessed via two steps. We have an accessible toilet with baby changing facilities that requires use of a portable wheelchair ramp - please ask any member of staff. We recommend that guests let us know in advance if a wheelchair space is required, so that we can make the appropriate table arrangements.

Dogs

Our Hitchin restaurant does not permit dogs inside.

Dogs are allowed on our pavement area provided they:

are kept on a short lead and under control
remain on the floor at all times
are quiet and well behaved
are not fed from your plate

Owners are responsible for their pet’s behaviour and we reserve the right to ask for dogs to be removed at any time.

Please ask if you would like a water bowl.

Assistance dogs are welcome in all areas of our restaurant.
