On The GreenHarpenden Private Dining
For a private summer event, the stunning courtyard garden at our Harpenden restaurant overlooking Leyton Green is a perfect venue for up to 60 people. Guests can enjoy the event in our charming, walled garden lined with Hertford growing a carefully chosen selection of fragrant herbs use to flavour our house garden gin. Indoors, the restaurant itself, in a converted 18th century coach house, providing a cosy, rural feel.
Then, for those looking for a smaller and slightly more formal space, the book-lined first-floor dining room is ideal for a small family celebration or business function and will comfortably accommodate eight to 12 guests along with a projector and screen. There’s free parking two minutes away and the railway station is only five minutes on foot.

Lussmanns Harpenden is arranged over two floors – providing ground floor space for 46 guests and alfresco dining in our courtyard (weather permitting). We also offer private dining in our lovely first floor room seating 8-10, which is perfect for small business functions and family celebrations. Disabled Access
Please be aware that our restaurant entrance has two shallow steps and do let us know if you would like a ramp. We have a wheelchair accessible toilet with baby changing facilities. We recommend that guests let us know in advance if a wheelchair space is required, so that we can make the appropriate table arrangements.Parking Information

Our Harpenden restaurant does not permit dogs inside.
Dogs are allowed in the garden area provided they:
- are kept on a short lead and under control
- remain on the floor at all times
- are quiet and well behaved
- are not fed from your plate
- arrive and leave via the garden only
Owners are responsible for their pet’s behaviour and we reserve the right to ask for dogs to be removed at any time.
Please ask if you would like a water bowl.
Assistance dogs are welcome in all areas of our restaurant.

Restaurant Manager
Roberto Elia
I started work as a kitchen porter in the UK back in 2015 and quickly fell in love with restaurants. Nevertheless, I decided to take a break and I started working in a warehouse, becoming the team leader. I managed to join the Lussmanns team as a waiter in 2021.
I embraced Lussmanns ethical approach, and it’s taught me how even the smallest details can make a positive difference to the planet. The passion they put into creating a sustainable and welcoming environment has given me the daily motivation to work in a hard and dedicated way. Alongside all the opportunities I’ve encountered, I’m very proud to have reached the position of restaurant manager and I’ll put all my effort and determination in it.
