The Five BellsBerkhamsted Private Dining
With a self-contained garden room, restaurant and bar area as well as dedicated private dining room, Lussmanns Berkhamsted can host family celebrations and business functions for any sized group from eight-100; indoors or out. The listed building, formerly home to one of the town’s most historic pubs, includes its own cosy bar area. The first-floor private dining area is an elegant and intimate space ideally suited to groups of eight-12 guests.
The light and spacious garden room can be divided into a fully private space for 15-30 or a semi-private area for seven-14. Hire the main dining room and bar and they’ll provide a stylish setting for 40-80 guests. All of the options on the ground floor are fully accessible and some areas may be equipped with a projector and screen. Water Lane car park is a two-minute walk away and the railway station is just six minutes on foot.

Disabled Access
Disabled access via the front door.Restaurant and disabled loo all on one floor, and this includes baby change facilities. Our garden is accessible via the back gate but does not have toilet facilities.

Our Berkhamsted restaurant does not permit dogs inside.
Dogs are allowed in the garden area provided they:
- are kept on a short lead and under control
- remain on the floor at all times
- are quiet and well behaved
- are not fed from your plate
- arrive and leave via the garden only
Owners are responsible for their pet’s behaviour and we reserve the right to ask for dogs to be removed at any time.
Please ask if you would like a water bowl.
Assistance dogs are welcome in all areas of our restaurant.
