Listen to live jazz every night during the St Albans International Organ Festival as the UK’s most talented musicians perform for you at Lussmanns. Dates for our guest artists will be added shortly.

Reserve your table online at Lussmanns in St Albans. Please note that, during Jazz at the Festival, every table booked between 5pm and 7.30pm will be required back after two hours to meet the high demand from patrons wishing to enjoy free live music.

Gareth studied Classical and Jazz piano at the Guildhall School. He has gigged in a variety of contexts and led his own quartet and trio. Gareth currently holds positions at the Purcell School and St Paul’s Boys School where he coaches small groups and teaches jazz piano.

UK-based jazz pianist/organist Mike Gorman has toured with many leading international artists. He has also worked with many of the UK’s leading luminaries including Don Weller, Guy Barker and Dee Dee Bridgewater. Mike is a regular member of The Peter King Quartet and The Jim Mullen Organ Trio.

Dom Pipkin performs at Lussmanns St Albans

One of Europe’s most authentic and spirited blues and jazz piano players, Dom Pipkin is at the forefront of musicians keeping the classic New Orleans sound alive. With fans ranging from Eric Bibb to Jamie Cullum and Hugh Laurie, Pipkin has played piano all over the world and worked with renowned artists from Pee Wee Ellis, ZIgaboo Modeliste from the Meters, to Talking Head’s David Byrne. He played piano privately for the late film director Stanley Kubrick. When not performing solo or with his band The Ikos, Pipkin continues to tour with 90s trip hop stars Morcheeba, on whose album “Big Calm” he recorded keyboards.

He has recorded at Capitol Studios (LA), Studio de Meudon (Paris), Rudy Van Gelder’s Studio (NYC), and Kings Place (London).

His solo piano EP, ‘Portraits,’ will be released on Warner / ADA later this year.
