About this event: The Brilliant Breakfast 8.30am on Tuesday 12th October 2021 at Lussmanns, St Albans (Waxhouse Gate).

The Brilliant Breakfast is run in aid of Women Supporting Women at The Prince’s Trust. It funds vital, life changing programmes for disadvantaged young women in the UK, supporting them as they gain the confidence and skills they need to go into education, work or training.
We invite you to St Albans’ very own Brilliant Breakfast, with:

  • Martine Croxall, BBC News presenter, BBC News channel
  • Daisy Cooper, MP St Albans, and deputy leader of the liberal Democrats
  • Margaret Chapman, Headteacher St Albans Girls School
  • Angela Clarke, screenwriter and best-selling author
  • Donna Nichol, owner Chloe James Lifestyle (fashion and gift store)

They will talk about their journeys to where they are today and the women who have supported them along the way. The talk will be moderated by Leoni Kibbey, actor, actor’s agent and founder of St Albans Film Festival.

The Brilliant Breakfast was launched in 2020 by Annoushka Ducas MBE, Patron of Women Supporting Women for The Prince’s Trust, as an annual, nationwide fundraising event with the mission to inspire and invite everyone from all over the UK to get together and host a breakfast.

It’s an opportunity to come together and share stories whilst fundraising for a great cause.

Tickets cost £20 per person including VAT, £10 of which goes directly to Women Supporting Women, and include your choice of the following:

  • tea & coffee on arrival plus top ups
  • Shakshuka & free range egg in a pot (v)
  • fresh fruit salad in a pot (ve)
  • selection of croissants with a napkin (v)
  • tap water on the table

We kindly ask that you do a lateral flow test prior to attending this event and do not attend if you have any COVID-19 symptoms.

This breakfast has been kindly supported by Andrei Lussmann and his Lussmanns sustainable restaurant group.
