Your health and wellbeing is very important to us. Keeping our customers, staff and suppliers safe is our main priority so we have introduced a variety of measures to minimise everyone’s risk and meet government guidelines.

Key safety precautions

Cleaning & Sanitising
– Surfaces sanitised between seatings
– Common areas deep cleaned daily
– Digital, disposable or sanitised menu provided
– Contactless payment available

Social Distancing
– Limited number of seated diners
– Distancing maintained in common areas
– Extra space between tables
– Service using an easel and tray where possible
– Sick staff prohibited in the workplace

Personal Protective Equipment
– Staff wear face coverings at all times
– Diners wear face coverings except when seated at a table to eat or drink



Points of service

Our service may be slightly different from previous visits, but we hope to maintain fast and efficient service to your table. Drop-off zones will be used (next to your table) and we will talk you through other changes once you are seated. You may be asked to move plates and drinks onto your table from these zones and also aid the staff to clear used plates, glasses and cutlery. We hope you still enjoy our friendly service, albeit from a distance!

Booking
Booking is necessary and we cannot accept walk-ins without contact details at this time. We never share our customer’s details, however, we will use these to inform you of any track and trace updates. If you have any special requirements, please contact the restaurant manager. Please do not dine with us if you are awaiting the results of a recent coronavirus test or have any of the commonly known symptoms.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Our staff will be wearing their usual uniform with the addition of face visors. Staff will follow strict hygiene guidelines and only change in and out of their uniforms on site. Regular hand washing and hand sanitising will take place at designated points around the restaurant. Full staff training has been conducted so our staff are confident to deliver food and drink while still maintaining social distancing and hygiene measures.

Staffing
Our staff will be working in ‘bubbles’ to limit any transmission of the virus and these will have staggered start and finish times. Daily health checks and measures to manage any positive coronavirus results have also been put in place. All our staff were furloughed during the lockdown and may continue on a part-time furlough throughout the summer months. Our main priority has been, and will continue to be, the safety of our staff, suppliers and customers.

Distancing
Based on current guidelines and considering a social distance of 1+ metre, we have put together a table plan to limit contact between staff and customers.

Toilets
We have strict cleaning rotas in place and are offering hand sanitiser at the entrance to our toilets. There may also be limits on the number of customers that can enter a toilet at any one time.

Menus
We currently have a pared back version of our usual menus. These will be changed every two weeks and we will also offer specials. Your order will be taken at your table, either verbally or using a single-use menu.

Payment
This can be made in the following ways:
– contactless (up to £45)
– using our terminal (chip and pin)
– remotely, in advance (please ask)
– buying and redeeming Lussmanns gift vouchers
Please be aware that we cannot take cash at this time.

We really appreciate all your support at the moment. Please maintain social distancing while in the restaurant, these measures are really important in keeping us all safe. These may soon be lifted and we will keep our website updated.
