Lussmanns is Hertford's busiest independent restaurant. Now in our 6th year, we have really come to understand our locals and what they want from their restaurant. Housed in the historic ‘Egyptian House’ (for Da Vinci Code fans, this was once rumoured to have been a meeting place of secret society, the Knights Templar), our restaurant is both bijou and full of atmosphere regardless of the time of day.

It's always nice to see a friendly face at work and the great thing about an established restaurant like Hertford is that you really have the opportunity to get to know your customers. The three restaurants each have their own distinct personality and I think what sets Lussmanns Hertford restaurant apart is the intimate and lively atmosphere, perfect for leisurely lunches and relaxed dinners.
